What is the successful recipe for inspiring lifelong learners in the context of education? The answer is an engaging classroom with a scope for self-reflection and a veteran teacher reflecting on his/her quest for intrinsic motivation and kindling curiosity among the students. The Teacher Development Program at CPS Global aims at empowering these teachers as we strongly believe that Empowered Teachers create Empowered Students.
CPS Global School is a certified centre to offer Cambridge International Diploma in Teaching and Trainers (CIDTT) course provided by the Cambridge Assessment International Examinations (CAIE), UK for upskilling teachers.
This certification is an International quality benchmark recognised in more than 140 countries across the world, enhances one’s professional profile and helps shape future career plans. It not only develops Teaching pedagogy and skills but also attitudes, ways of thinking and behaviours. This dynamic and intellectually stimulating course is a must for teachers who prepare their students for an unknown journey into their future. The programme involves a spiral of professional learning, each stage being a cycle of experiential learning and reflective practice following on from the previous cycle and leading on to the next. Teachers are guided to explore, collaborate and apply new ideas in their own context, integrate new approaches in their own practice, and demonstrate their professional development as reflective practitioners.
CIDTT program is inclusive and is relevant to all teaching and learning contexts: from primary to secondary education, vocational education and training, and to further adult and higher education. Irrespective of the subject teachers’ teach, this program helps them to understand what motivates the young learners and how one can keep challenging their motivation. Teachers who have completed CIDTT have a greater awareness of students being at the centre of learning.
