Mrs. Jayu Ganesh

Head of School – Thirumazhisai

Jayu Ganesh brings a legacy of global best practices gleaned from an illustrious career as an educator. A Nuclear Physicist and a life-long learner, she has over four decades of experience in the profession of teaching and worked as a collaborative administrator within the learning community in various capacities and roles. Jayu is an IB examiner and is equally versed with CAIE and IB Diploma Programs.

Having full confidence in her leadership skills, IB entrusted with her the position of the Network Chair (Admin) for the DPC Tamil Nadu Network in 2020. Furthermore, she is an active member of IB Heads Group (PAN India), DPCs Group of IB Asia Pacific Region, and Indian Principals Network (IPN). Jayu Ganesh has been elected as an Executive Member to the Executive Council of the IB Heads Association representing the Southern and Eastern Regions. Jayu has travelled widely attending Cambridge and IBO Conferences and workshops at Cambridge, Singapore, Colombo, Athens, and Savannah.

Recognized as one of the field’s most empathetic administrators and motivated teachers, Jayu has the propensity to dream and determine with her facilitators and students towards building a robust academic environment based on fundamental human values. Having spent substantial years in the education sector, she is particularly interested in practices that unchain and set free the latent talent of every child in her institution. She has been known to go beyond the call of duty as a professional to help students, parents, and the staff in their time of need and this remains her most enduring character as an educator.

Prior to joining CPS Global, Jayu was the Dean of Academics, IGCSE Coordinator and Examination Officer for CAIE in Symbiosis International School, Pune. In 2016, the then Vice-Chancellor, University of Cambridge Sir LeszekBorysiewicz, and the then Chief Executive Officer, Michael O ‘Sullivan honoured her with a ‘Letter of Achievement’ for churning out the World and Country toppers securing outstanding results in the IGCSE Examinations year after year. This recognition is a testament to her dedication and tireless commitment to motivating her teachers and students alike, to contribute to their individual success and uphold the highest educational values of the institution.

Sreedevi Varakavi, brings with her a rich tapestry of experience and a profound passion for education. With a solid foundation in Mathematics, Sreedevi holds a Master’s degree in Education from Osmania University, reflecting her unwavering commitment to continuous learning and professional growth. Over the span of two decades, Sreedevi has traversed various roles within the education sector, from IB Diploma Coordinator to Mentor, each position contributing to her holistic understanding of educational leadership and pedagogical excellence. Her journey has seen her leave indelible marks of expertise at esteemed institutions such as Sreenidhi International School, Kennedy Global School, DRS International School, and Indian Academy, Dubai.

A seasoned practitioner across multiple educational frameworks including IB, IGCSE, ICSE, and Harvard Project Zero/Cultures of Thinking, Sreedevi is dedicated to sculpting inclusive learning environments where both students and educators thrive. Her approach is anchored in a diverse array of teaching methodologies, igniting curiosity and fostering holistic growth among learners.

Beyond her instructional prowess, Sreedevi’s adeptness extends to school accreditations, having played pivotal roles in preparing institutions for NEASC and CIS accreditations, as well as serving as an internal auditor for KHDA inspections.

Sreedevi’s impact transcends the confines of her school, as she generously shares her expertise as a resource person for Macmillan publications, enhancing educational materials and nurturing effective teaching and learning practices across diverse educational landscapes.

Mrs. Rama Mylavarapu

Head of School – Annanagar

Rama Mylavarapu comes with more than two decades of experience as an academician with diversified roles played as a Principal, Vice Principal, academic administrator, coordinator, mentor and a counselor. She holds a Master’s degree in Management from BITS, Pilani. Before joining CPS family, she has worked at various renowned International schools including Ahmedabad International School, Oakridge International School and Chirec International School. She brings with her knowledge and experience of New Age teaching practices and pedagogies and is committed to academic excellence.

Her rich experience to the IB and Cambridge curricula has empowered her with diverse and cutting edge approaches to become an accomplished academic administrator. Rama was instrumental in initiating Child development programs and spearheaded the academic audit team within the group schools to reinforce active learning ecosystem.

She pioneered online live projects with international students to bring in experiential educational opportunities beyond classrooms. She was the recipient of the “World Education Award” for effective usage of technology in school education.

Rama firmly believes that a teacher with PHD-passion to teach, hunger to learn and the determination to nurture the young minds is the best guide, friend and mentor a student can have to become successful in life in every possible way Inculcating 21st C skills and making children lifelong learners, preparing them to face the global challenges is her ambition.
