Internationally recognized accreditation agencies like the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO), Cambridge Assessment International Education ensure ongoing school improvement through periodic self-study processes and guarantee that external entities, like colleges and universities throughout the world, recognise the quality of our students, faculty, programs and systems. CPS Global school is a Fully-accredited School to offer the following programs.
Founded in 1968, the IB is an international educational foundation headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. The IB offers four educational programs for children ages 3–19 and provides support, direction and curriculum for the delivery of best-practice in education.
CPS Global School offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). IBDP is a pre-university course of study aimed at the education of the whole person and designed for students in their last two years of high school. The IBDP is well-respected by universities globally and is recognized as one of the most rigorous and holistically-effective curriculum structures today.
Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) is a provider of international qualifications, offering examinations and qualifications to 10,000 schools in more than 160 countries. CAIE prepares school students for life, helping them develop an informed curiosity and a lasting passion for learning. International qualifications provided by CAIE are recognised by the world’s best universities and employers, giving students a wide range of options in their education and career.
Cambridge programmes and qualifications set the global standard for international education. They are created by subject experts, rooted in academic rigour and reflect the latest educational research. CPS Global School is a registered Cambridge International School that offers a K-12 curriculum.
In 1976, Dustin Heuston, a pioneering educator, founded the Waterford Institute, a non-profit, research-based institution with the mission to provide equity and access for every child to quality education, through the power of technology. Waterford Early Learning, a set of two powerful digital programs designed for early education; Waterford Early Reading Program (WERP) and Waterford Early Math and Science Program (WEMS). This program for preschoolers is used successfully by millions of students to build their academic foundation necessary for a lifetime of learning. CPS Global is the first school in the Asia Pacific region to intersperse this proven Waterford curriculum of the U.S. among the learners in the age group of 2 ½ to 5 ½ years.

The College Board is an American private nonprofit corporation that was formed in 1900 to expand access to higher education. The membership association is made up of 6,000 world’s leading educational institutions and is dedicated to promoting excellence and equity in education. Each year, College Board helps more than seven million students prepare for a successful transition to college through programs and services in college readiness and college success. CPS Global is a registered and approved centre for administering their standardised tests – SAT suite of Assessments and the Advanced Placement (AP).
Cambridge Assessment English, a 100 year old division that is a part of the University of Cambridge, is one of the top language assessment providers in the world. Cambridge English Qualifications are in-depth exams that make learning English enjoyable, effective and rewarding. These exams are taken by more than 4 million people a year in over 130 countries that give learners the skills and confidence they need to succeed in English for employment, education and international emigration. It’s unique approach encourages continuous progression with a clear path to improving language skills. Each of their qualifications focuses on a level of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), enabling learners to develop and build speaking, writing, reading and listening skills.
CPS Group is recognised as the first Cambridge English (ESOL) Examinations Centre among all the participative schools in the Southern Region of India. As a Centre, the school trains CPS students from eight years upwards and the same is offered for outsiders from schools, colleges, corporates and homemakers for different levels of language testing examinations.
Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing is a part of the University of Cambridge and has been working with UK and worldwide universities, governments and employers for over 15 years. Its vision is to enable fair access to opportunities in education and employment around the world with tests that provide a fair measure of skills and aptitude.
It’s a global network of centres that spans 150 countries, making it easy to assess applicants wherever they may be. Their admissions assessments are a global mark of excellence that set the quality standard. CPS is the authorised centre for Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing to administer Physics Aptitude Test (PAT), Mathematics admission test (MAT), Biomedical admissions test (BMAT) and others.
CEMC brings over 50 years of experience to inspire students to reach further with mathematics and computer science. The story began in 1963 when a group of secondary school teachers developed the first mathematics contest in Ontario. From that spark, the CEMC has grown into one of Canada’s foremost authorities on mathematics and computer science for young people. They are committed to giving students the tools they need to build their confidence, grow their problem solving skills and get excited about mathematics and computing. Housed within the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Waterloo, the CEMC is the largest organization of its kind in Canada with more than 40 dedicated faculty and staff and hundreds of committed volunteers.
CPS Global School is the only accredited centre in this region to administer various contests such as Gauss, Fermat, Cayley, Pascal, Fryer, Galois, Euclid, CSMC, CIMC to our school students and outsiders for Grades 7 to 12.
The French Institute in India provides a framework – based on parameters such as pedagogy, teaching methodology and professional development which engages the academic and administrative faculty in creating an effective and well-balanced curriculum for learning French as a foreign language in school.
CPS Global School is the first school in Chennai to become a part of the growing network of “Schools for Excellence in French”. This French Language status is issued by the Institut francais en Inde (IFI) to promote teaching of French in Indian schools. We prepare students aged between 12 and 18 years for different levels of internationally recognised DELF/DALF exams to assess their French language skills.
Trinity College London is a leading international exam board and independent education charity that has been providing assessments around the world since 1877. It specialises in the assessment of communicative and performance skills covering music, drama, combined arts and English language. With over 850,000 candidates a year in more than 60 countries worldwide, Trinity qualifications are specifically designed to help students progress. They aim to inspire teachers and learners through the creation of assessments that are enjoyable to prepare for, rewarding to teach and that develop the skills needed in real life.
CPS Global is the registered exam centre and prepares students every year in speech and drama, at all levels to give a whole foundation of confidence, progression and a sense of achievement.
Helen O’ Grady International is the largest worldwide theatre academy of its kind; an innovative educational programme with a uniquely extensive curriculum, dynamic teachers and easily accessible venues. It all started in 1979 when Helen O’Grady, a trained drama teacher commenced the after-school classes for her children to embrace social interaction, verbal skills, self-esteem and positive approach to life through drama.
Over one million children are enrolled in this programme globally. In India alone, the programme has won the prestigious Best Innovative After-School Programme Award by the Indian Education Congress for three consecutive Years. CPS Global is the first international school in Chennai to collaborate with Helen O’ Grady in 2017.
International Schools Sports Organisation (ISSO) is an authorised body to organise and conduct sports events and competitions between International Schools in India. It is meant and formed with an initiative to develop and nurture sports across international schools affiliated to Cambridge, IB and other international boards in the nation. CPS Global School has been a member of the ISSO since 2019. Through this sports organisation, the talented students who showcase splendid performances reach ‘Khelo India Youth Games’, an initiative by the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs.
The Award Programme previously known as the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award was introduced in India in 1962 with a view to encourage young people to achieve their full growth potential within the framework of Indian society, to improve their moral, social and intellectual well-being and to ‘Equip them for Life’.
The International Award for Young People(IAYP) is an exciting self-development programme for all young people worldwide aged 14-25. Since its inception, the Award Programme has successfully equipped over a million young people in over 144 countries with life skills, built their confidence, and engaged them with their communities. CPS Global School is an authorised license operator for IAYP since 2017
Worldview is an experiential learning platform that offers Transformative Leadership programs to engage Gen-Z in working towards solutions for challenges in local & global communities. It employs a blend of tools such as simulations, travel, case studies, projects & internships, real time work in order to create a dynamic out-of-classroom learning environment.
