SEASONAL STORIES FROM THE INCREDIBLE VOICES
“Play gives children a chance to practice what they are learning!!”
In resonating with this, every year the ELP team of CPS Global School,
Thirumazhisai, stage a Socio Dramatic play allowing the young learners to
explore and learn contexts and appreciate experiences. A dramatic play
accommodates imaginary scenarios, social situations, emotions into role play.
Early learners are prone to react on impulse and this dramatic indulgence into a
play is a great stepping stone towards their learning to self-regulate their
emotions and actions. The exclusive theme for the year 2023- 24 was marked as
“Seasons”. On 1 st March 2024, CPS Global School, Thirumazhisai, was all set
for “RITURANG”- The colours of the seasons, with our tiny tots bedecked with
irresistibly cute, themed costumes from Sun to snowflakes; butterflies to
strawberries and even the intricate details on a thermometer.
The play kick started with the spectators entering the venue with great
amusement and curiosity. They were engaged in a visual expedition where our
little helping elves guided them through each display. Our early learners
adorning their smart hats immersed the audience with their unstoppable lessons
over seasons. The venue took over the disguise of a magical mantle teleporting
the crowd to a newer world of Summer, Fall, Monsoon and Spring. Every
learner effortlessly rendered their narrations on their assigned thematic
costumes and parents were swelling with pride to see their little ones perform at
ease with commendable dedication.
The beach in the summer, the huge pumpkins and mushrooms encompassing
the fall, the rich and flamboyant flowers echoing the spring season and a
majestic and glistening ice berg with wispy flurries and the massive cloud with
pristine raindrops were the show stoppers among the displays. A season frame
with a huge vibrant rainbow was the hot spot photo booth for the visitors. At the
end, it was an exuberating day for the tots to engage, interact and extend their
prospects in multi developmental domains.
