Artistry Unleashed: Exploring Creativity with Atelier Club

Written by cpsglobalblog

“Creativity is contagious, pass it on.” ‘

Creativity requires courage, and Atelier, the art club of CPS GLOBAL School in Thirumazhisai, provides an ideal space for students to unleash their creativity. Throughout the year, a variety of activities engaged our budding artists. Specially curated projects catered to primary, middle, and high school students. The club began with primary students creating eye-catching cards using stencil prints, while seniors enjoyed making pun cards with adorable drawings. Students explored nature, studying plants outdoors and recreating them through intricate pencil sketches. From potted plants for younger students to garden plants for older ones, each artwork was a testament to their skills. Additionally, students experimented with pencil strokes, bringing colorful Emus to life on paper. Middle and high school students delved into creating mesmerizing optical art, playing with vibrant hues to create abstract pieces with a sense of optical illusion. Photography was also explored, with students learning the basics and IGCSE students trying their hand at outdoor photography. Understanding the history of art is crucial for budding artists, and our students had insightful sessions exploring various art movements such as impressionism, pop art, and cubism. Through Atelier, CPS GLOBAL School aims to ignite a lifelong passion for art, equipping students with the foundation to excel in artistic pursuits.
