It was a day of Manoranjan and Utsav- a Fête from the department of Hindi. This celebration honored and cherished the culture and heritage of our Nation’s Official Language, Hindi. The students of CPS Global, Thirumazhisai put forth an astounding special assembly for the Hindi Diwas, on 14th September 2023. The assembly was thoughtfully curated and addressed bilingually for both the speakers and non speakers of Hindi, bringing in international mindedness among the crowd.
The occasion commenced with the school prayer, which was followed by the Lower Secondary Students, highlighting on the significance of this Day. The News, delivered in both Hindi and English was quite an ear-catching segment for the audience. The beautiful poem melodiously sung by our chirpy tiny tots from CAIE 1-3 became an instant crowd’s favorite. The juniors of CAIE 2-4 gracefully enacted over a folklore song in Hindi which captivated everyone’s attention with its musical number. “Kaun Banega Badshah”, with its hunt for the best English synonyms for Hindi names was hosted by the IBDP students. This season 4, had the crowd thrilled in guessing every answer. The Gathering rejoiced over the importance of Hindi and was a true reminder of the beauty of the language.
