The bond between a child and a mom knows no bounds and deserves no introduction. Through a soul-stirring event which was aptly named, “Mom and Me,” the platform was laid to cherish and celebrate the bond with love, pride, and gratitude.
As the event pulled the curtains above, the learners showed up with their moms in colour coordination and the duo walked hand in hand radiating joy. The day began with an inspiring address by our Deputy Head of School who emphasized the pivotal role played by parents in shaping the character and behaviour of our young learners. ELP 1 learners had a special surprise for their mothers through a charming “walk the ramp” extravaganza. ELP 2 learners pleased the audience by shaking their legs for a peppy dance number, while the learners of ELP 3 staged a heart-touching skit titled “Mom’s love.” Activities conducted for the mommies were the show stoppers as they were overjoyed and truly enjoyed their day. As the event drew to a close, our young learners presented takeaway cards to their parents, a touching gesture of their love and appreciation. There was time for some parent testimonials. Some chose to express their feedback verbally, while others left heart-warming notes that were proudly displayed on our notice board.
The mother’s love and guidance are invaluable treasures and “Mom and Me” was a celebration of the precious bond between mothers and their children.
