“Science is the beautiful gift to humanity;
We should not distort it.”

-Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam.

National Science day is celebrated every year on 28th, February to commemorate Sir C.V
Raman’s contribution to the world of Science. This day is distinguished to spread a notable
message about the importance of Science used in our daily life. Today our ELP kids at
CPSGS, TMZ celebrated National Science day by performing and witnessing ‘Fun
with Science.’
Early learners were thrilled and much excited to experiment various things. The purpose of
this activity is to promote interest, understanding, and knowledge of the scientific world
among our young learners. It also aims at guiding students to develop independent, logical,
and creative minds. Children were overwhelmed to witness constructive activities such as
floating lemon, walking colours, raising water, magic balloon and pepper water. These
experiments helped them to understand general science concepts such as capillary action,
density, friction, and heat pressure.
Teaching Science through practical experiments is one of the most effective ways for our
little ones to understand scientific processes and concepts. Today’s practical experience and
hands-on science tricks helped our global learners to visualize, how the concepts work in the
real world. Having the chance to perform some Science tricks developed a sense of
ownership, which motivated our ELP kids to take more responsibility for their learning and
have fun as well.
