At CPS Global School, Thirumazhisai, we completely understand the importance of a child’s growth at the early years and the sensitive role of parents along with teachers. As partners, both parents and teachers share equal responsibility in identifying children’s skills and interests so that we can assist them in realizing their dreams. To embrace the new beginning and to establish an everlasting bond we conducted an orientation session for our ELP parents. Details about the Waterford Early Learning Curriculum and the systematic processes involved in the ways of learning in ELP were elucidated graphically. The session advanced further through the details of the various subjects and the teacher-in-charges for the classes. Detailed virtual class schedule was also put forward. Our Head of School and Academic Coordinator joined the session to welcome the tiny tots and their parents. The open session with parents clarified the instilled doubts that parents had in them. The session helped parents to gain a greater understanding of what their child will be experiencing in the classes.
The virtual assembly was nothing less than a festival. It was an exhilarating moment, as the entire ELP Team and children zoomed in together for a virtual morning assembly after the summer vacation. The teachers were certainly overjoyed to welcome the tiny learners. They were also enthralled to see their teachers. The day started with the prayer to receive the blessings of almighty. Our Head of School prudently welcomed our tiny tots to this wonderful new academic year. ‘An Elephant and his friends’, story was enacted by our teachers and our children were so elated to watch the play. Last year memories video and pulsating Youth Anthem were also screened. Children were really excited to know that the song was rendered by their seniors. Virtual classroom rules and covid safety measures were explained to them. Children danced for an energizing warmup song which lighten the mood and all set to start another joyful academic year at ELP, CPS Global School, Thirumazhisai!
