“Creativity is making Marvelous artwork out of the Discarded!!! “
In today’s world recycling has a very important place. Hence utilizing the best from unwanted things has become a
generic necessity of every human’s life. A science activity was conducted at CPS Global School – Thirumazhisai,
aimed at making the students of CAIE 1, understand the importance of preserving the environment and moreover
learn more about sustainability. Little hands of CAIE 1 and their imaginative minds came together in a creative
burst for “Best out of waste “.
Students of CAIE 1 prepared very creative and innovative models and art items from different waste materials. They had used reusable and recyclable materials like, newspapers, shoe boxes, bangles, coconut shell, paper plate, paper cups and much more. From these items they created an amazing array of display items and useful everyday objects leaving everyone totally impressed.
The activity helped students understand the value of the need to reduce, reuse and recycle. It explored and fostered
creativity and offered the students a platform to showcase their skills. It also inspired our children to think and enhance their presentation skills.
This fun filled activity witnessed an enthusiastic participation and was appreciated by everyone.
