Nurturing Creativity and Learning Through Craft Projects with Shapes

Written by cpsglobalblog

Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he/she grows up.

–Pablo Picasso

Engaging children, in craft projects is a way to teach them about shapes while nurturing their creativity. This activity focuses on exploring shapes through a fun and hands on craft project allowing kids to learn while unleashing their imagination. Shapes not bring joy to children. Also contribute to their cognitive and motor skill development.

The learners of ELP 2 of CPS Global School, TMZ were filled with excitement as they embarked on a collage project centered around shapes they had learned about. Armed with paper cut into squares, triangles, circles and more they were encouraged to arrange these shapes in the outline of a tree image creating their unique artworks. This activity not familiarizes children with shapes but also provides an outlet for them to express their imaginative ideas.

By participating in these activities, children enhance their understanding of shapes. Alongside the task cultivates their fine motor skills, creativity and problem-solving abilities.
