On July 12th, 2024, CPS Global School, Thirumazhisai, celebrated French National Day with great enthusiasm, offering a series of activities that brought French culture alive for students. This year’s celebration aimed to deepen students’ connection with the language, history, and traditions of France.
The day commenced with an opening ceremony featuring a captivating presentation on the historical significance of Bastille Day. CIE 8 students eloquently narrated the events of July 14, 1789, highlighting the storming of the Bastille prison and its role in the French Revolution.
Following the presentation, CIE 7 and 8 students conducted an engaging quiz covering topics such as French National Day, French culture, and famous French brands. The quiz tested participants’ knowledge, reinforcing their understanding of the significance of Bastille Day.
Overall, the French National Day celebration at CPS Global School was a vibrant and educational event, fostering a deeper appreciation of French culture and history among students.
