Show and tell is a great way to build a classroom community and grow the listening and speaking skills of students. Even in online classes, show and tell is a team building activity. It is a chance for each student to gain the attention of their classmates to tell a story, or share an adventure whether it be about their favourite book, furry friend, or about their learning. Often, the protagonists we meet in fictional stories and comic strips are admired for being courageous and having a strong sense of right and wrong, which often leads to selfless acts in an effort to help others. Your child’s superhero might not be able to leap tall buildings or have x-ray vision, but they have already chosen the special someone to be one! – could it be her dad who takes for a late-night ice cream or her mom who cradles her to sleep on her lap? ‘Superhero’ was the theme for EY 2. Festivals are an expressive way to celebrate glorious heritage, culture and traditions. They are meant to rejoice special moments and emotions in our lives with our loved ones.
