Sort out! @ CPSGS, ANN

Written by cpsglobalblog

Teaching numbers in sequences, it is important to start with concrete examples using blocks or sorting objects. It is easiest to start by showing the growth of a simple activities. As a part of it our EY-1 kids were encouraged to sort by sorting out toys, balls or other similar items into ‘like’ groups, such as big/small, long/short, or colours. Sorting helps children develop EXECUTIVE FUNCTION SKILLS, important brain skills that help with memory, attention and problem-solving.
