Building blocks are a popular and excellent learning tool that has been used from time immemorial for play and activities. From brick to plastic this toy has come a long way.
At the CPS GS EY and lower primary segment we celebrated Lego Day to celebrate this popular toy which is also a great source of learning, providing a well rounded experience to enhance hand eye coordination, dexterity and imagination.
Children participated with enthusiasm as they put together blocks to give shape to their imagination and out came unique formations!! Castles, beaches, animals in the jungle, various types of cars and the list can go on! A unique twist was to use the blocks for painting and create unique images!
As they put the lego pieces together to make something new, in the process they build themselves!
