Where does my food come from?
Hens give eggs…Pigs give ham
Cows give milk…Strawberries give jam
Bees give honey… Goats give cheese and the
Farms yield Food!
We ,at our EYsegment strongly believe that it is important to teach our kids where food comes from and the arduousness it takes to have food on our table !
Our tiny tots also came to know that food doesn’t just magically land at the convenience store or that it doesn’t grow in a can, bottle, or bag either . The long journey from wherever the products are grown and the numerous stops it takes to reach our plate at home takes the sweat and toil of many .
Its a journey of many thousand steps and the first step is taken at the farm – our children understood!
