“The world’s most powerful tool is the library.
It transforms lives and makes advances in human knowledge”
Libraries are more than just repositories of books; they are community hubs that provides access to information, resources, and technology. It is an atmosphere where you learn, grow and connect to new people.
CPS Global school celebrated National Library week with great enthusiasm. Students of CAIE 7 made a visit to the British Council Library on 2nd March 23’. It was a great opportunity for our young book lovers to foresight their love of reading and the opportunities it offers. Children enjoyed the ‘library ambience.’ They had access to a variety of books which made them dwell into it as they perceived their reading in the atmosphere of concentration.
The ‘Pep Talk’ brought an insight to all the children on how reading books are much enjoyable than watching it as a movie. It made them understand transformation of words through metaphors and making cumulative errors would ruin the originality of the text.
Reading books brings many positive impacts on an individual’s personal and intellectual development. They had limitless choices of books and they basked in the inclusive environment, and productive space the library has offered for them to read.
