Sidney Hook said “Everyone who remembers his own education remembers teachers, not methods and techniques. The teacher is the heart of the educational system”.
Every year, September fifth is celebrated as ‘Teacher’s Day’ in honour of the teachers and all their efforts in making each of our days memorable. In the spirit of gratitude, the students of CPS Global School planned a special assembly to celebrate all their teachers, and appreciate their efforts and hope to give them a memorable day.
The celebrations started with many cultural exhibits including musical renderings and dance performances by students across Grades 6 to IB, and continued in the form of humour with a performance of Stand-up comedy and a game of “Who wants to be the millionaire” which the teachers participated in. After the assembly the teachers participated in sports activities sustaining the atmosphere of celebration.
And even though the event ended, our gratitude and sincerity towards our beloved teachers will always remain the same.
