“Healthy Habits are learned in the same way as unhealthy ones – through practice”.

In an enlightening session titled “Mastering Cleanliness and Hygiene: Essential Habits for a Healthier Life,” students and staff at our school had the privilege of learning from Dr. Pritam Chatterjee, a distinguished Interventional Neuroradiologist and Interventional Radiologist. With his vast expertise and international qualifications, Dr. Chatterjee brought invaluable insights into the essential habits that foster a healthier life.

During the session, Dr. Chatterjee emphasized the critical role that cleanliness and hygiene play in maintaining overall well-being. He discussed the adverse effects of neglecting basic hygiene practices and provided practical strategies for incorporating these habits into daily routines. One key point was the importance of not skipping breakfast—a simple yet often overlooked practice that significantly impacts health. Dr. Chatterjee explained how starting the day with a nutritious meal fuels the body and mind, enhancing productivity and preventing various health issues.

The session also delved into preventive measures to avoid common illnesses, highlighting how small, consistent actions can lead to a healthier lifestyle. Dr. Chatterjee’s approachable and engaging manner resonated with the students, making complex medical concepts accessible and relevant to their daily lives.

This Gleanings session not only educated us but also inspired our students to adopt healthier habits and to understand the long-term benefits of maintaining cleanliness and hygiene. We are grateful to Dr. Chatterjee for sharing his expertise and look forward to applying these lessons in our daily lives.
