Our students embarked on an exciting literacy journey, diving into the captivating world of “OO” words. They enhanced their phonological awareness, reading, and spelling skills. A highlight of the experience was a fun game where students were divided into two groups to select picture cards representing “OO” words, identifying whether each word had a long or short sound.
This immersive experience not only clarified “OO” word patterns but also encouraged creativity, self-expression, and a genuine passion for learning. By reinforcing these essential skills, we established a solid foundation for literacy while celebrating the enthusiasm and remarkable growth of our young learners.
