On March 17, 2024, students from IBDP-1 and IG-1 visited Panchayat Union Middle School in Villivakkam as part of a meaningful initiative. In partnership with Green Sole and guided by the Fuel A Dream Team, we successfully crowdfunded and distributed back-to-school kits containing bags, mats, and shoes to support students and promote sustainability.
Students from CAIE 8 to IBDP Year 2 raised INR 7,84,071, benefiting 825 students from remote villages. A special mention to Nisha Sasikumar (Grade 10) for raising INR 1.20 lakh, the highest among participants. During the visit, IGY1 and DPY1 students distributed 134 kits to students at Panchayat Union Middle School, Villivakkam. The remaining kits will be shared across Kancheepuram, Chengalpattu, and Thiruvallur districts.
The most fulfilling part was not just the distribution but the genuine connections we built—sharing stories, answering questions, and encouraging their dreams. This initiative reaffirmed our belief that small efforts can create significant change.
