Our EY1 learners began an exciting new journey at CPS GLOBAL SCHOOL Thirumazhisai as they took their very first step into their classroom. The day was thoughtfully planned to help every child feel welcomed, comfortable, and excited about their new learning environment.
The celebration began at our cheerful Selfie Booth, where children captured their very first school memories. These special moments marked the beginning of a wonderful year filled with learning, friendship, and fun.The children then participated in the “Train of Joy” Fingerprint Activity, where each child proudly added their colourful fingerprint to create a beautiful class train. This collaborative activity celebrated every child’s uniqueness while showing that together they are an important part of the EY1 family.
The children enjoyed sharing snack time with their classmates, learning simple classroom routines while making new friends in a warm, happy, and relaxed atmosphere.Our little learners also began building positive relationships with their teachers through friendly conversations, smiles, games, and gentle encouragement. These caring interactions helped each child feel safe, valued, and confident in their new classroom.
The excitement continued at the play area, where children explored, laughed, and strengthened their social, emotional, and physical skills through play. They also enjoyed singing familiar rhymes and action songs, filling the classroom with music, movement, laughter, and joy.It was a memorable first day filled with smiles, new experiences, and the beginning of lasting friendships. We are excited to continue this wonderful learning journey together and look forward to many more joyful adventures throughout the year!
