We are elated to share that Rexiline C from IGCSE year 2, CPS Global School, Thirumazhisai, has achieved a remarkable milestone as part of Zero Waste International at The New York Academy of Sciences – Upcycling & Waste Management Fall 2024 Challenge. This global challenge brought together exceptional young minds dedicated to tackling real-world environmental issues through innovative solutions.
Rexiline’s team (Team number 5143 – biochemistry, biology, environment friendly, community) included talented students across the globe – China, Egypt, the United States, and India. Out of 416 outstanding teams globally, Rexiline’s team earned a place among the Top 11 Teams of Distinction, standing proudly alongside the winning teams. This prestigious recognition reflects dedication, creativity, and commitment to finding sustainable solutions for our planet. Their certificates will bear the honor of being a “Team of Distinction”, a testament to their incredible achievement.
As the mentor of this brilliant team, I am filled with pride and joy to have guided them on this journey. Witnessing Rexiline’s success and sharing her happiness has been an unforgettable experience. As her IGCSE Coordinator and middle school teacher, seeing her shine on such an international platform brings me immense fulfillment.
