“The world is a stage, and every experience is an opportunity to learn.”
The Cambridge Primary (CIE 1 & CIE 2) students of CPS Global School, Thirumazhisai, enjoyed an enriching educational field trip to the Government Museum, Egmore, where they watched the live theatre production “The Cooks,” presented by The Little Theatre. The captivating performance brought storytelling to life through expressive acting, lively music, humour, and audience interaction. Students were thoroughly engaged throughout the show, responding with excitement, laughter, and curiosity as the story unfolded on stage. The experience provided a wonderful opportunity for young learners to appreciate live theatre while exploring the world of performing arts in an engaging and enjoyable setting.
The interactive performance encouraged students to observe carefully, listen attentively, and immerse themselves in the storyline. Following the show, they enthusiastically shared their favourite scenes, discussed the characters, and reflected on the memorable moments from the performance. The visit nurtured creativity, imagination, communication, and critical thinking while helping students develop a deeper appreciation for dramatic arts and storytelling. Beyond being an enjoyable outing, the field trip extended learning beyond the classroom by exposing students to a unique cultural experience that combined education with entertainment. The visit to the Government Museum, Egmore, and the delightful presentation of “The Cooks” by The Little Theatre created lasting memories and inspired our young learners to value the magic of live performances and creative expression.
