Friendship Day at our kindergarten was a day of joy, bonding, and discovery, where the spirit of friendship was celebrated in every corner. The day started with a warm circle time, where children shared their thoughts on what makes a good friend—highlighting qualities like sharing, caring, and helping one another. The younger children also designed personalized friendship cards, filling them with love and joy as they exchanged them with their peers.
In a burst of creativity, Grade 3 to 5 students crafted vibrant friendship bands, while Grades 1 and 2 engaged in a meaningful friendship tree colouring activity. These handmade tokens and collaborative art pieces symbolized the bonds they cherish.
Each class collaborated on a chart depicting friendship through painting, colouring, and sponge stamping, bringing their collective imagination to life.
The day concluded with a touching friendship pledge, sealing the day’s memories with promises of kindness and enduring friendship.
