Poetry has a special way of turning simple words into vivid images and emotions. Recently, our Lower Primary children took the stage for “Verses Alive,” where their recitation skills truly stood out. This event showed how even the youngest students can bring words to life with energy and feeling.
Preparing for “Verses Alive” taught our students that even small actions can make a big difference. Their recitations were not just heard but truly felt. They learned that poetry is more than just memorizing lines—it’s about expressing emotions and connecting with others through their voices. By focusing on clear speaking, using gestures, and engaging the audience, they made their poems come alive in captivating ways.
This experience showed how a little practice and heartfelt expression can turn simple lines into something extraordinary.
