Zenith 2024: Hues of Heritage unfolded as a vibrant celebration of achievement and culture at CPS Global School, Thirumazhisai. This year’s theme, Hues of Heritage, beautifully encapsulated Tamil Nadu’s diverse landscapes—Mullai, Marutham, Neithal, Palai, and Kurinji—each representing the dynamic ways nature sustains and nurtures life. The event opened with a graceful invocation by the Melodic Angels, setting a tone of reverence and anticipation. Following the invocation, the CPS Schools Group Management warmly welcomed and honored the Chief Guest, Mr. K. Saravana Kumar, Consul General of Malaysia. The evening’s highlight was the recognition of academic excellence, honoring the school’s top performers in the IBDP, IGCSE, and Cambridge Lower Secondary Checkpoint Examinations, as well as those excelling in internal assessments. Beyond academics, the celebration extended to talents in the arts, skills, and personal achievements. Teachers and non-teaching staff were equally acknowledged for their dedication and contribution for creating a thriving learning environment.
In his keynote address, Mr. Saravana Kumar congratulated the students and their proud parents, likening their achievements to the landscapes of Tamil Nadu—each distinct yet contributing to a greater whole. His closing message resonated deeply: much like the land’s rich diversity, when individuals unite in purpose and dedication, they can reach extraordinary heights. The cultural segment began with a mesmerizing invocation dance, invoking the grace and blessings of the Lord, setting a divine tone for the evening. Through the vivid landscapes of Tamil Nadu, the audience was transported into captivating stories—The Rainbow Fish, celebrating friendship and the marine beauty of Neithal; Little Red Riding Hood, showcasing courage against the stunning backdrop of Kurinji; the wisdom of the desert in Palai’s arid expanses; and the environmental spirit of Mullai’s lush forests through the powerful depiction of the Chipko Movement. Each performance highlighted the rich cultural heritage and the deep connection between nature and humanity.
Parents were effusive in their praise, calling Zenith 2024 “a seamless, fantastic show,” and extending kudos to the entire team of teachers and students for their remarkable effort.
