The learners of CIE 4 embarked on an enriching visit to the Children’s National Park and Snake Park in Guindy, where they encountered a diverse array of wildlife, including Sambar deer, porcupines, monkeys, peafowl, and many more fascinating creatures.
Hedgehogs and small turtles were displayed in terrariums, while ancient fossilized wood provided valuable insights into the world of paleontology. The butterfly zone, home to numerous species of butterflies—nature’s biotic pollinators—was a vibrant highlight of the trip.
At the Snake Park, students marveled at the exotic species of snakes housed safely behind glass enclosures, alongside various species of crocodiles. This immersive field trip proved to be highly educational, igniting the learners’ curiosity and stimulating their visual senses.
