Grade 3 learners used a 10 x 10 grid to understand percentages as a friendly companion to fractions. The learners discovered the equivalence of fractions and percentages by representing halves and quarters with vibrant colors. The activity was engaging and creative and helped learners to bridge the gap between fractions and percentages.
