Angles are all around us, playing hide-and-seek in the corners of shapes and determining the alignment of buildings. The ability to estimate and sort angles is not only a fundamental skill in geometry but also a crucial aspect of various applications, from computer graphics to robotics.
Learners of grade 4 explored the fascinating world of angles by estimating and sorting angles, delving into the methods and significance behind this geometric precision. A paper fan was used to estimate and order the angles according to the different categories. More than a cooling device, the paper fans unfolded the magic of estimating and sorting angles in a way that’s both engaging and memorable. The learners also analyzed the angle sum property on a straight line by pairing the paper fan angles to form 180 degrees.
