CPS Global School, Thirumazhsai welcomed its Primary School students to the Academic
Year 2022-23 today. Streamers, colourful charts and welcome back posters adorned the
corridors and walls, totally in sync with the exhilaration of the students and teachers alike.
The mirthful assembly hosted by Ms Sneha was conducted by the Primary School Teachers.
Prayer directs us in the right path. Ms Vedha led the students with the serene school prayer. A
good thought can brighten our day. Ms Rahila shared the thought for the day with our
learners.
The school encourages the students to be up-to-date on current affairs and to drive
this point home; Ms Mohanapriya shared the News with the students. Ms Uma Maheshwari,
the student counsellor elaborated the importance of education in one’s life.
कल करे सो आज कर आज करे सो अब | Ms Paavani, recited and explained this Doha by Kabirdas
which is about the importance of completing one’s work on time and not succumbing to
procrastination. A fun welcome song by the teachers, revved up the mood of the students.
One of the most effective tools for teaching is narrating a story. Ms Suganya had the audience
in rapt attention as she walked them through a story that accentuated discipline. A fun riddle
conducted by Ms Poongodhai had the students jumping with excitement. The primary
teachers performed a thought provoking mime on Discipline. Ms Aditi, the Academic
coordinator welcomed the students and introduced to them, the new class advisors and the
subject teachers.
Ms Jayu Ganesh, the Head of School expressed her delight in having the
students in school and wished them a happy learning year. She implored them to adhere to
COVID safety protocols at all times. The secret of getting ahead is getting started and the
Primary School indeed started off with a bang!
