Speaking fluently and confidently is an essential skill in today’s world. One engaging and beneficial activity to hone this skill is “Just a Minute.” “Just a Minute” is an exciting speaking activity that encourages participants to think on their feet and speak confidently for a minute on a given topic. It not only hones speaking skills but also fosters confidence and creativity. Our young minds of CAIE 3 actively participated in this beneficial activity.
Students randomly picked a lot from the box and were given one minute for their preparation. Then they confidently delivered a one-minute speech on their chosen topic. They articulated their thoughts clearly and concisely within a given period of time. Through this activity-based learning, our young minds showcased their speaking abilities, determination, and creativity.
