Spreading Joy Through Service: A Memorable Visit to the Old-Age Home @ CPS Global School, Anna Nagar

Written by cpsglobalblog

“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.”

On 11th September 2024, our Upper Primary students embarked on a heartwarming mission to spread joy at the Friends in Need Society in Egmore. With eager smiles and open hearts, they were welcomed by the residents, whose warmth and energy filled the room.

The day began with a burst of excitement as our students performed a lively dance and sang a heartfelt song, setting the perfect tone for a day of laughter and connection. What followed was pure magic. The elderly residents, far from being passive observers, became active participants in the fun, joining in a delightful game of musical chairs and a joyful sing-along. Their enthusiasm was contagious, as they clapped, sang along, and shared in the lively spirit of the day.

To make the visit even more special, each resident received a thoughtfully prepared gift hamper – an expression of love and gratitude from our students. This unforgettable experience reminded everyone that true happiness is multiplied when shared, and our students left with hearts full, knowing they had made a lasting impact.

This visit wasn’t just about giving – it was about building connections, sharing joy, and learning that small acts of kindness can make the world brighter.
