Hindi Diwas @ CPS Global School Thirumazhisai

Written by cpsglobalblog
CPS Global School celebrated Hindi Diwas with immense enthusiasm and energy, presenting a vibrant display of student talent while underscoring the significance of the Hindi language.
The event began with the school prayer, followed by a bilingual news reading in both Hindi and English. Students then recited a thoughtful Doha by Kabirdas ji: “Aavat gari ek hai, ulat jaaye anek; Kah Kabir, na ulat ho, wahi ek ki ek,” reminding everyone of the dignity and pride in one’s language.
The significance of Hindi Diwas was highlighted by the students, who explained that it is observed on September 14th to commemorate Hindi’s recognition as the official language of India. They stressed the vital role that Hindi, as our mother tongue, plays in our everyday lives.
A delightful performance by primary students followed, as they charmed the audience with a lively rendition of the song “Aalu Kachaloo,” which was met with great excitement. Adding to the fun, a skit featuring Gandhi ji’s three monkeys was presented, with a modern twist—a new monkey was introduced, obsessed with mobile phones, much to the enjoyment of the audience.
An engaging quiz, titled “Kaun Banega Badshah,” had students guessing the meanings of their teachers’ names, turning into a fun and interactive activity that was a big hit.
The Hindi Diwas celebration was a memorable and enriching experience for all the students, leaving a lasting impression of the importance of our language.
