Money may not buy happiness, but learning about money surely gave our wards loads of fun! The first session of the “Money Managers” ( 29th November 2022) – SEEDs Club was nothing less than a fun-filled, informative, engaging session.
The main objective of the first session was to show the young minds the importance of saving and investing WISELY. But the hour long session wasn’t about the hosts talking and the audience listening, it was more of audience contributing ideas from their experiences and the hosts commenting and guiding. The secretary, Burhan Lokhand, and the co-secretary, Dhruv Patel, with subtle jokes and memes entertained the aspiring millionaires and billionaires while driving home the point about investing wisely and early.
A game of Shark Tank where the students were divided into groups and made to discuss and pitch an idea of how they could help their very own Joey Tribbiani from F.R.I.E.N.D.S achieve his dream of buying a yacht. Students came up with many excellent ideas and presented different and interesting ways of doing this right from investing in Bitcoins to becoming an Instagram Influencer everything was there!
At the end of the day, the students learnt something new that day from the hosts and the hosts had great fun in presenting this simple session to an extraordinary audience of bright talented young minds.
