On 8th December 2022, Team A (S. P. Sree Harini, SVS Rohan and Keya Doshi of A Levels and Burhan of AS Level) made their mark as title winners of India future founders program 2022 organised by University of Queensland, as part of their Qlab – Ventures discovery initiative. With over 50 + school teams participating in this national level competition, our team made it to top 5, and gave their virtual presentation to the esteemed judges. Team A presented their tertiary idea, Vyapaar-e, which is a platform
that enables local vendors to sell online in a bid to promote sustainability while improving the livelihood of people in the low income segment of India. They validated their idea with market research by interviewing local sellers and conducting a customer survey with over 200 respondents. The students also developed a fully- functioning prototype of the website along with a bargaining feature.
QLabs is a 3-month intensive Entrepreneurship Program with a business pitching competition at the end of the same. The participation in the final competition of QLab 2022 and the whole program was a wonderful learning opportunity for our students with engagements with students from different parts of India and faculties of University of Queensland.
