Save The Royal Cat @ CPS GS, ANN

Written by cpsglobalblog

Tiger is the national animal of India. The tiger is a symbol of power, bravery, and might. Love of tigers is quite a common thing. So majestic, powerful, and fierce but yet, so endangered and vulnerable. A symbol of strength that’s been part of many cultures for centuries, such is the pull that this iconic animal has on our imagination.

Consumers’ demand for tiger body parts poses the most significant threat to the tiger. Tigers are being illegally hunted for their skin, bones, teeth, nails, etc. which are highly valuable for medicinal use and remedies.

Today our EY segment of CPS Global School celebrated International Tiger Day under the caption “Save The Tigers”. Children learnt all about tigers, the importance of tigers in our ecosystem, and the utter need for the conservation of these majestic big cats and protecting their natural habitats. Children went on a rally inside the campus holding placards and shouting slogans to save the largest living cat species that have dark vertical stripes on orange fur.

Well, what could be more heart-warming and encouraging than witnessing the small children contributing to the need for tiger conservation! Yes, there was an air of excitement on our CPS GS campus. It was quite the experience!

Let’s all unite and contribute to the act of SAVING THE TIGER!!
