Patterns with ice-cream sticks @ CPSGS ANN

Written by cpsglobalblog

In kindergarten classrooms, one of the popular activities is creating patterns with ice cream sticks. These patterns not only help children develop their fine motor skills but also introduce them to basic concepts of sequencing and patterning. Today, our little learners explored the exciting world of patterns using everyone’s favourite frozen treat accessory – ice cream sticks! One of the patterns that we focused is the standing and sleeping line  pattern, and what better way to learn about the letter “t”. By experimenting with various designs, children were able to express their creativity. Creating patterns with ice cream sticks is not only educational but also brought smiles and giggles in the classroom.
