Students of grade 6, learnt that mass and weight are two different quantities. They are seen measuring the mass and weight a wooden block and steel bobs using weighing machine and Newton Spring balance. An excellent end to the activity was the learners had an opportunity to discuss the uncertainties in the measurements and how accurate are the measurements which has been calculated.
