                                                             Cheerio Molecules!!!

Learning about the states of matter is a vital part of science since everything around us is made up of matter.  It is important to learn the physical characteristics of each state of matter in order to learn about the world around us. Learners of Grade 3 used colorful thermocol balls to sort out the different states of matter and the arrangement of Molecules. They glued on the thermocol balls to show how each state looks. After discussing the concept, a few children stood up and spread out around the room representing each state of matter. Our young scientists thoroughly enjoyed this activity as it was a great visual to help them understand the concept.
