Pattern activities can easily be implemented in natural ways with children. Children love to find patterns in the world around them. Patterns help children understand change and that things happen over time. Our EY3 students were involved in a hands-on learning experience using open-ended materials such as blocks, and coloured shapes to explore and create intricate patterns, deepening their understanding of sequences and relationships.
