The students of CIE Grade 6 embarked on an exciting journey into the world of web development through an engaging and hands-on HTML activity. The session began with a fun “Arrange the HTML Tags” challenge, where students worked collaboratively to place HTML tags in the correct order and discover the basic structure of a webpage.
Building on this activity, students were introduced to fundamental HTML concepts and learned about important tags such as <html>, <head>, <title>, <body>, and the <h1> heading tag. They then applied their learning by creating their very first basic webpage, adding headings and content of their own.
The activity not only enhanced their understanding of how websites are structured but also fostered logical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills. The enthusiasm and curiosity displayed by the students made the session both enjoyable and inspiring, marking an exciting first step into the fascinating world of web design.
