“Reading is like breathing in and writing is like breathing out”
At CPS Global, our students learn to differentiate between formal and informal tones in English through engaging activities. While they receive structured support in the classroom, they also pick up language skills from friends, media, and public conversations. Recently, our CIE 4 students participated in a hands-on activity where they sorted various formal and informal phrases. This interactive class encouraged collaborative discussion and practical understanding of tone. By mastering formal and informal English, our students not only become proficient in distinguishing professional articles from friendly texts but also develop into confident orators, equipped for diverse conversational contexts.
