Kiddies Cove @ CPSGS ANN

Written by cpsglobalblog

A key strategy for fostering language development in young children is reading aloud to them. They are exposed to new vocabulary and linguistic patterns as a result. Early reading instruction gives kids a head start on learning new things. The cognitive development process—the capacity to think and understand, including remembering, problem-solving, and decision-making—of young children who are read to during storytime in libraries is known to be improved.

The EY3 students were excited to hear the puppet-read “that’s not my puppy” story in the kiddies cove. The puppets they used to represent the story showed how much they enjoyed it. This interaction improved their capacity for listening.
