A pleasant day to start with!
Our children reached the golden boulder campus for the most exciting castaway program.
Students were taken on a campus tour and settled in their tents.
The Trainers kickstarted with an energizer session with a series of icebreaker team games. Post lunch, the students had a complete castaway program orientation with a brainstorming questionnaire to understand the aim of the program and understand nature and the ecosystem.
Post orientation the students were split into two teams. One team had the bushcraft session and the second team had a compass navigation session. Through the bushcraft session, our students explored and learned about using nature to sustain themselves for protracted periods in the wild. The compass and navigation session offered our students an opportunity to discover the proper, progressive way of learning compass skills and this session ended with a treasure hunt using compass clues.
Day 2 ended with an enriching learning experience.
