Financial literacy is the key to making informed decisions. On the 8th January 2022, the Lower and Upper Secondary segment had a session on the Introduction to the stock market. The session was delivered by subject expert Mr.Maghesh Vasan. He is a private banker skilled in portfolio management, business relationship management, private transaction, start-up funding, and foreign exchange options.
The session was highly interactive with questions from participants throughout. The resource person answered all the questions patiently. Students learned about the basics of stock, its volatility, and different stock exchange markets in India. In addition to this, students learned about the classification of stocks and were introduced to the types of analysis that are being carried out by the stock market experts. It was definitely a good takeaway for students and a good knowledge feed for their curiosity.
