Our EY2 kiddos loved their learning with one of the elements of nature W..w..Water today. At first, they made the sound of the letter w followed by tracing its formation. Then they were intrigued by the question – What happens if a lemon is dropped into plain water? By dropping the lemon into water, the fact that it gets sunk has been surfaced to them.
Then to take their exploration further, another lemon was dropped in salty water to help them sense that it floats.
They learnt the letter W with sound and the concept of float – sink with ease, when shown with the above experiment, since water – the everyday essential was the base.
