“Every problem that is interesting is also soluble”
Solubility is the ability of a solid, liquid, or gaseous chemical substance to dissolve in solvent and form a solution.
Students of CIE 5 experimented by mixing various substances, such as salt, tea powder, sugar, and oil, into water. They observed that some substances dissolved while others did not. To enhance the rate of dissolving, the students applied heat to the solution and stirred it continuously.
Through this experiment, they were able to relate the solubility of substances to the particle model theory.
