Teachers of CPS Global School, Thirumazhisai had a rewarding Saturday as they participated in a transformative professional development session led by Dr. Janani Rex. Dr. Janani offered valuable insights into Emotional Intelligence, focusing on strategies to manage and compartmentalize emotions for inner peace and self-acceptance. She introduced the concept of fear as “False Evidence Appearing to Be Real” and encouraged replacing it with faith—”Face Anything In Trusting Him.” Emphasizing the role of teachers as sources of positive energy, Dr. Janani highlighted how their attitudes profoundly affect students’ emotional and academic experiences. She also explored the connection between emotional health and physical well-being, demonstrating how effective emotional management can lead to a state of ease rather than disease. The session aimed to empower educators with essential skills to overcome personal fears, enhance their teaching, and foster a supportive, enriching classroom environment.
