Grandparents are the roots, the strong foundation of a family. Through their special love and care, grandparents keep a family close at heart. They play many roles such as a mentor, guide, and best friend to their grandchildren giving them a sense of acceptance, stability, wisdom, fun, and support. To honor and show back our gratitude, CPS Global School, Anna Nagar organized a ‘Grandparents Day Celebration’ by the EY segment on the 24th of August 2023.
The motive behind this day’s celebration is to honor grandparents for all the sacrifices they make for their families and also to create awareness among the children of the moral support, information, and guidance they can offer. The day began with a welcome song specially dedicated to this day that gave a feeling to the grandparents of being loved by their grandchildren. Many exciting games of yesteryears were conducted to provide an opportunity for all the grandparents to relive their childhood memories. The ambiance was filled with smiles, fun, affection, happiness, and joy. After the event ended, all the students and grandparents returned to their homes with happy memories.
